Packing Tips
Efficient packing = Efficient workflow = Save you money
Simply said, you can save yourself hundreds of dollars by packing efficiently. Here’s how:
• Label all boxes with room location
• All items should be packed away in boxes. Do not use bags or unstackable containers to pack
• All clothing/items should be removed from dresser drawers and packed away in boxes
• Clear off bookshelves of items and pack into boxes
• Don’t forget the garage, all loose items should be in large boxes or wardrobe boxes (see below)
Box packing guide
SMALL
Dishes, collectibles, books, heavy smaller items, small drawer items, filing cabinet papers
MEDIUM
Pots, pans, small appliances, clothing, smaller artwork or frames
LARGE
Linens, comforters, pillows, hanging clothes
WARDROBE BOXES
Hanging clothes, shoes and other closet items can go below the hang bar in box.
Garden tools and cleaning tools can also go in open wardrobe boxes
