free consultation
We start with an in-home consultation with you, listening to your story, getting a feel for challenge areas, and learning who is all involved. From there, we are able to provide an estimate of cost and timelines for the move. Wehn you’re ready to move forward, we’ll step right in to take on the job and relieve some of that initial overwhelm.
MOVE MANAGEMENT
Determining timelines, staying connected with the other professionals involved, dropping off supplies, and organizing the logistics of the downsize are all part of our comprehensive services. As a Certified Senior Move Manager®, we go above and beyond the basic moving duties throughout the entire scope.
SORTING & PACKING
Sorting and packing can be a tedious and overwhelming process, but we are here to provide compassionate guidance during this phase of the move. If needed, we can pack all the items that are a must-have for the new residence and help sort for hauling and donations.
HAULING & DECLUTTERING
If you have items that are old, damaged, or unusable, we can pull them out and haul or recycle them for you. That way there’s less clutter during the packing process, allowing us to help bring the focus back on what is going to the next home.
FLOOR-PLANNING
With 200+ downsizing and senior living moves completed each year, we have extensive experience to advise and help you determine ideal layouts in the new home. This will also include suggestions on what will fit and what might feel crammed if you’re moving to a smaller space.
local deliveries & dispersing
You may have some items that you decide are still in usable condition and could be delivered to a local family member or donation centers. Our team can move these types of items where they need to go in order to continue reducing the volume of your belongings.
LOADING UP & MOVING IN
As the final step in this process, our team comes together to move your belongings into the new home or community. Furniture is reassembled and rooms are set up according to the plan, so you or your loved one can settle in stress-free. If extra support is needed for unpacking, it would be our pleasure to do so as well.
